"Short visit": Hosts wanted for filmmakers

For the 36 FILMFEST DRESDEN, numerous filmmakers from Germany, Europe and around the world are once again looking for accommodation. From 16 to 21 April 2024, they will be travelling to Dresden to attend the short film festival and present their films in person.

Hospitable Dresdeners who would like to enjoy a cinematic atmosphere in their own home and can provide a room with a couch or bed during the festival, please contact kurzbesuch@filmfest-dresden.de!

The short visit programme is a great offer that benefits both the filmmakers and you as their hosts. The festival guests are always very grateful for the trust and hospitality of the people of Dresden. The short visit gives them the opportunity to get to know the city and the people who live here much more personally. As a host, you in turn get a very personal insight into the short film scene.

Conditions of participation
If you are interested in offering overnight accommodation for festival guests, please write a short email by 27 March with the most important information about yourself and the accommodation option (address, language skills, number of overnight places, smoking or pets in the flat, etc.) to kurzbesuch[at]filmfest-dresden.de

As a thank you, you will receive free tickets per guest and night for screenings during the festival week.
