Call for Entry for FFDD27 is now open!

Submissions for the 39 FILMFEST DRESDEN (13 –18 April 2027) are now open. As in previous years, please use www.shortfilmdepot.com to submit your films.

• We are looking for short fiction and animation films (up to 30 minutes) produced after 31 December 2024 for our International and National Competition programmes.
• Hybrid formats such as AnimaDoc, experimental, or documentary-style fiction films are also welcome.
• Experimental and documentary films can additionally be submitted to our Central German Competition (with a running time of up to 40 minutes) as well as to our Special Programmes.

We charge a submission fee of 10 Euros per submission to the International Competition and 8 Euros for all other submissions. In addition, each submission requires a stamp on SHORTFILMDEPOT, which can be purchased individually or in packs of 5, 20, or 50.
