Filmfest Workshop: DRAG-UP AND PLAY!
Interested in Drag as a form of expression? Want to explore an art form where ‘too much’ is ‘just right’and celebrated? This workshop for beginners focuses on playing around and exploring this empowering artform and searching for your fabulous drag-self. Whether King, Queen, Quing or Thing, this workshop will support you in finding and exploring your own drag character including basic makeup tips, peer exchange and silliness. Those who want to can head out together to the filmfest drag party right after the workshop!

Workshop will be given by Lars Neupert, (they/them)
lives and works in Dresden. Studied Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Glasgow and University of California, Berkeley.
Lars' performance work flirts with the boundaries of clowning, drag, polyphony, live art, sound art and practice as a research approach. Lars' explorations question representation and power dynamics and celebrate queerness and joyful resistance.
