FFDD26 Outlook: 20 Years of Focus Québec

This year, we are celebrating a special anniversary at FILMFEST DRESDEN: our Focus Québec looks back on 20 years of extraordinary filmmaking from the French-speaking Canadian province.

Québec is a creative film region with a distinctive identity. Experimental, documentary and narrative forms come together here, reflecting a lively, unique film language. For two decades, Focus Québec has been bringing this diversity to our screens and has long since established itself as a favourite with audiences.

For the anniversary, we are expecting international guests who will celebrate the special connection between Québec and Dresden with us and provide exciting insights into the transatlantic film scene. Be sure to mark your calendars!
