FFDD22 Flashbacks
The 34 FILMFEST DRESDEN celebrated short films and their makers from 5 to 10 April 2022 – this year with the thematic focus on gender diversity and justice. A total of 355 films were screened in 13 Dresden locations: 199 events brought film fans, industry and partners together.
This festival documentation by Greta Markurt captures the festival spirit with a selection of event impressions as well as interview parts with three guests:
- Samuel Girma (activist and jury member of the “LUCA film award for Gender Diversity”)
- Brenda Lien (filmmaker and winner of the main award “Saxon Film Promotion Prize - National Competition” with her film FIRST WORK, THEN PLAY)
- Caroline Monnet (filmmaker, artist and curator of the Focus Québec programme)
