FFDD20: Update of all industry events

Finally, it's starting again! Not only film programmes are there for our guests to discover at the 32nd FILMFEST DRESDEN. In the context of various panels, lectures and information events, networking, information and further education can take place to their heart's content. Due to the restrictions imposed by the Corona Pandemic, we will be broadcasting selected events live on our website for the first time.

Here is a small foretaste:

Between the opening and the award ceremony, two exhibitions will be opened during the festival week, the content of which is linked to our retrospective: With a joint bicycle tour through Dresden we will go directly to the ceremonial opening of the exhibition "Aus der Rolle gefallen - Frauen im DEFA-Studio für Trickfilme" (Out of the Role - Women in the DEFA Studio for Animated Films) on Friday, 11.9. at the Technische Sammlungen Dresden. In addition, Christine Schlegel and Helge Leiberg will present their work in the exhibition "Phases" in the Galerie Raskolnikow. The opening will take place on Wednesday, 9.9. The artist Christine Schlegel will also give insights into her creative processes in a master class on 12.9.

Panels on the topics of gender talk and the representability of trauma in film invite to a joint exchange of ideas.
