30th Dresden Short Film Night at the Filmnächte am Elbufer – Save the Date: 10 July!

We are thrilled to announce that the 30th edition of the Dresden Short Film Night will once again take place in collaboration with our long-standing main partner, the Filmnächte am Elbufer. On Thursday, 10 July 2025, we invite you to join us for a special summer evening as we look back – with a curated selection of legendary short films from three decades.

Ticket sales begin on 27 May 2025 – we recommend booking early, as this night promises an unforgettable festival atmosphere under the open sky with a stunning view of the Elbe River.

We’re excited to already reveal one highlight of the evening:
FLIEGEN (2009), directed by Piotr J. Lewandowski, starring the incredible Sandra Hüller.
