Accreditation for 38 FILMFEST DRESDEN 2026
From now until 27 March 2026, you can apply for accreditation for the 38 FILMFEST DRESDEN (14–19 April 2026).
Who can apply for accreditation?
Accreditations are issued to guests who have a professional interest in attending FILMFEST DRESDEN, such as filmmakers, media and press representatives, and film students. Up to two people per company or organisation and up to four people per film team are admitted free of charge.
Benefits of accreditation
- Free admission to all film programmes. (Please note: Admission is only possible with a valid ticket. Tickets can be booked via your user account or at the box office of the festival cinemas by presenting your accreditation.).
- Participation in most of the professional and networking events in the section etc. – events. trainings. connections (except for events that require a personal invitation or separate registration)
- A personal festival account with information about your events, the guest list and access to the film library.

How to apply for accreditation
- Follow the link below to our formular and create a personal user account (festival account) to submit your accreditation request.
- If you already have a user account, you can continue to use it and request a new password if necessary.
- Accreditation is personal and non-transferable. Each person needs their own festival account and accreditation.
- Once your accreditation has been approved, you will receive a six-digit accreditation ID.
- We will email you the accreditation confirmation with all the relevant information as soon as your accreditation request has been checked and confirmed.
To help us process your accreditation request quickly, please enter your details as completely as possible and use an email address where we can reliably reach you. Please provide your travel dates to Dresden as accurately as possible and update them if anything changes.
Accreditation after the deadline
After the end of the accreditation period (27 March 2026), accreditation will only be possible on site at the Guest Office (Altes Wettbüro) during the festival week. A fee of 40 Euros will be charged for late accreditations.
