Tribute: Mara Mattuschka: The Anti-Diva
At 34 FILMFEST DRESDEN we didcate our Tribute-programme to the multifaceted all-round artist Mara Mattuschka. She is a diva and an anti-diva at the same time. Performance, acting, film and painting are her fields of expression. The body is at the centre of her work, conscious in its urges and flaws, through which the unconscious bursts forth. We show a cross-section of her works from the last 40 years.
