Whether on train tracks\, under water\, or high up among the clouds\, our little explorers discover hidden worlds\, make new friends and learn to let their fantasies run wild. ’Cause when you dream\, you really can imagine everything.\n\nONCE AROUND THE WORLD\nFor young audiences five years and older\, the 38. FILMFEST DRESDEN is again presenting current international children’s and youth short films that bring a blast of the big world onto the cinema screens in Dresden. With lots of feeling and a dash of humour\, not only do these short films provide good entertainment\, but also vital food for thought. During the screenings\, the audiences will have an opportunity to talk to the filmmakers in attendance\, fire questions at them and share their opinions.\n\nTHE YOUNG CURATORS\nThe five programmes were compiled with the energetic support of 33 young and enthusiastic film fans from Dresden and the surrounding area. These consist of the Young Curators who\, during the festival preparations\, viewed many short films together\, discussed them\, and voted on their final selection. The result of which is the kid’s and youth programme\, complete with its own programme title. During the festival week\, the film-crazy members of the Young Curators are going to present their favourite films to the cinema audiences and blast the invited filmmakers with a whole array of questions.\nWe wish you lots of fun at the movies\, says: Anni (5)\, Fritzi (7)\, Maxim (8)\, Bruno (8)\, Lou (9)\, Jaro (9)\, Dante (9)\, Pina (9)\, Nicoleta (9)\, Jakob (10)\, Lilith (10)\, Julika (10)\, Gustav G.
