DESCRIPTION:During FILMFEST DRESDEN\, the Saxon Film Association together with ŁUŽYCAFILM\, the Sorbian-German film network\, and the Foundation for the Sorbian People are inviting all those interested to attend the “Wiźeś.Visible.Widźomne” film programme in the Lingnerschloss venue. With animated works\, music videos and fictional shorts from the Sorbian Lusatia region\, the event offers an exciting mix of differing formats and perspectives.\n\n\nPlease register for the event by email to m.mager@filmverband-sachsen.de.\nFree admission\, in German and Sorbian\n\nAfter the screenings and film discussions\, there is an opportunity for exchanges and networking over cold drinks at the Saxon Film Association’s get-together from 18:00 in the lovely ambience of the Lingnerschloss’s Sternensaal venue.\n\nFrom 19:00\, the Saxon Film Association and the Saxon State Library – Dresden State and University Library (SLUB) are\, as part of the “Regional Focus” section\, screening excerpts from their joint SAVE (Securing the Audio-Visual Heritage in Saxony) project programme digitalising and preserving the audio-visual heritage in Saxony. This year\, the programme series is dedicated to the Dresden-based filmmaker Ernst Hirsch.
