22. Filmfest Dresden Comes to Successful End

On Sunday evening (25. April) the 22. Filmfest Dresden came to a highly successful conclusion. Over the six festival days, about 21.000 visitors enjoyed ten competition and 25 special programmes. This year a total of 280 shorts from 35 countries were screened. One highpoint yet again was the awarding of the eight Golden Horsemen and further prizes at the Festspielhaus Hellerau theatre hall on Saturday evening. The big draws for the audiences this year were the three children's programmes and the “GDR Relaxed” programme in addition to the competition programmes.
