Reinforcements for the Selection Committee

Already in January the viewing and selection committee for the competition sections will commence their time-consuming work. In each case five members of the committee will view the films for the National and the International Competitions. This year three new film experts will be able to cast their lots for their favourites: The animation filmmaker Bärbel Haage and Frank Pawella, a research assistant at the Art and Music Studies Institute in the Technical University Dresden, have joined the team viewing and selecting the German submissions. Ines Seifert from the animation production company balancefilm is strengthening the committee for the International Competition. Information about the viewers and selectors is available here.
