Submissions for the 23rd Filmfest Dresden are accepted from 1st October 2010 to 5th January 2011.

The following film productions are eligible for submission to the competitions:

• length 30 minutes maximum
• produced after 31st December 2008
• Short feature or animated film

With regard to the special programmes, older productions in the animation, short feature, experimental and documentary genres up to 30 minutes long can be submitted, irrespective of the year in which they were produced.
The festival has no restrictions in terms of content and is open to all themes, cinematic techniques and original film formats. There are no entry fees.
