Submissions for the 24th Filmfest Dresden are accepted from now on until 5th December 2011. The following film productions are eligible for submission to the competitions: length 30 minutes maximum, produced after 31st December 2009, short feature or animated film. With regard to the special programmes, older productions in the animation, short feature, experimental and documentary genres up to 30 minutes long can be submitted, irrespective of the year in which they were produced. How do I submit a film?

You only need two steps! At your first visit at Filmfest Dresden you have to register and create a personal account. After that you can submit films and apply for accreditation in February 2012. If you already have an account you can skip the first step.

1. First Registration

At your first visit, please follow the link to our >>online submission and choose between English and German your preferred language. Then you click on register and enter your e-mail address, your own password and your personal data. A confirmation of your registration will be sent to your e-mail address.

2. Login/ Filmsubmission

• Follow the link to our >> online submission
• Choose between English and German your preferred language and log on with your e-mail and password.
• Click on Short Film Submission
• Read the regulations carefully and tick it. Choose the language of the online form.
• Click on Submit a new film and fill out the application form. After that, click on Save at the bottom of the entry form and upload additional files in the second step. Now the submission is complete. A confirmation of your film submission will be sent to your e-mail address.
• Do not forget to send a Preview-DVD of your film with the ID-Number until 5th December 2011 to: Filmfest Dresden, Alaunstrasse 62, D-01099 Dresden, Germany
• After being registered once, you may submit to your account any number of films as your data and submission maintain.
