Part I: Dresden Programme

From April 22 to 25 Dresden welcomes the participants of the Exchange Forum 2010 during the 22nd Filmfest Dresden. After the opening dinner at the Wackerbarth vineyard the Forumis providing an extensive programme: the panel discussion on international cooperation in short film production, the exhibition opening at the German Institute for Animated Film, the lecture by Christian DeVita about his work on “Fantastic Mr. Fox” and the workshop with Karin Wehn and François Chalet. In addition, the participants can attend the Filmfest awards ceremony in the Festspielhaus Hellerau theatre hall. Afterwards, they can enjoy the Film Ball party.

Part II: Belgrade Programme

On Monday, the Forum programme continues in Belgrade. During the stop-trick workshop with Miloš Tomić, the participants are going to have a creative city excursion. The Goethe-Institut Belgrade is presenting several programmes of animated films such as “Best of Balkanima“, “Festival Palic“ and “Best of Serbian Animations“. The group will also visit the Faculty of Applied Arts with its affiliated studio. The Belgrade programme will end on Wednesday with a closing buffet and a “showreel” from the participants.
