28 FILMFEST DRESDEN 2016
The 28th edition of FILMFEST DRESDEN was held from 12 to 17 April 2016. More than 22,200 visitors, including 522 professional guests, watched the National and International Competitions and special programmes. These included the focus on photo animation, the retrospective on Bulgarian and German "Films for Security " as well as the tribute programme to the work of the painter and director Jürgen Böttcher, alias Strawalde, with the acompanying special exhibition in the Albertinum atrium of the Dresden State Art Collections.
