In its 26th edition from 15 to 20 April 2014 FILMFEST DRESDEN attracted more than 15,000 visitors, including about 400 professional guests. The highlights of the special programmes were the retrospective "Fashion Beyond the Wall – GDR Fashion Films", a tribute to the nouvelle vague  director Luc Moullet with an accompanying masterclass, the "Animation-Disc-O" programme on vinyl animations, as well as the event "A Wall is a Screen!". In this part, thousands of enthusiastic visitors followed the projection team through the city and watched short films at the most unusual locations – under railroad embankments, on the Brühlsche Terrasse, etc
