Arriving at Dresden International Airport

Dresden International Airport has a railway station on the lower ground floor of the terminal building. S-Bahn line S2 connects Dresden Airport with Dresden's two biggest stations, Dresden-Neustadt (close to most festival locations, 14 minutes drive) and Dresden-Hauptbahnhof (main station). For most festival locations, please get off at Dresden-Neustadt. Please also see our festival map.

Reaching the festival by train
For your long distance train booking please visit the website of Deutsche Bahn: www.bahn.com.
Please check if your train stops at the local train station Dresden-Neustadt, as it is only a short walking distance to many festival locations as well as the Guest Office and our partner hotel ParkInn.
If you are arriving at Dresden-Hauptbahnhof (main station) please use tramway number 7 (direction to Weixdorf) or number 8 (direction to Hellerau). If you want to reach the Guest Office please get off at the stop Albertplatz, for the festival cinema Thalia at the stop Louisenstraße, and for the cinema Filmtheater Schauburg at the stop Bischofsweg. If you are arriving at Dresden-Hauptbahnhof (main station) please use tramway number 7 (direction to Weixdorf) or number 8 (direction to Hellerau). A central tram stop close to many festival locations is at Albertplatz.

Reaching the festival by long distance bus
Since a few years the German long distance bus system has diversified. You can find an overview about different connections (e.g. from Berlin Airports) at www.busradar.com . Please check if the bus stops at the local train station Dresden-Neustadt as it is only a short walking distance to many festival locations as well as the Guest Office and our partner hotel ParkInn.
