We have extended the deadline for applications for our workshop on accessible filmmaking until January 31st 2017 and look forward to your applications!
In its 29th festival edition FILMFEST DRESDEN will offer a variety of industry events and training programmes for film professionals. One of them will be a workshop on accessible filmmaking called WIDENING THE FRAME. Michael Achtman, a practitioner with years of experience in inclusive practice as a writer-director, access consultant and audio describer, will lead the workshop from April 5th until April 7th 2017 and explore how to include deaf and disabled filmmakers, actors and crew in the filmmaking process.

We welcome applications from film professional who have an interest in working in an inclusive way. We especially welcome applications from deaf and disabled filmmakers to participate in this workshop. We will be happy to discuss your access requirements with you and we undertake to provide what you need in order to fully participate.
