Industry programme anyone?

In addition to the numerous, exciting film programmes, there is much more for our accredited guests to discover at the 31 FILMFEST DRESDEN. At various different events, you can network, be informed and gain further training – all to your hearts’ content. A wide and diverse array of workshops, panel discussions and info evenings are awaiting you. Likewise, exciting parties, occasions and other events are included in the festival’s "etc. – events.  trainings. connections." section.

Here is a small foretaste:

Between the opening and the award ceremony, two exhibitions will be opened during the festival week: As part of our Focus Cuba, Alfredo Ramos Fernández and Katarzyna Badach present their works in the exhibition "Until we grow wings / Surfing Buena Vista" at the Galerie Raskolnikow. The opening will take place on Wednesday, 10 April. The offered city tour brings our accredited guests directly to the opening of the exhibition "Animated Painting - Painting as Film" on Thursday, 11 April at the Technische Sammlungen Dresden.

The company SONOTON helps to find the right music for film productions and provides legal advice when using it (Thursday, 11 April). Jochen Kuhn will give a masterclass on Saturday, 13 April.
