Award Winners of 31 Filmfest Dresden 2019

The winners of 31 FILMFEST DRESDEN have just been announced. We congratulate all winning films and thank all our prize donors of FFDD19!

At the Awards Ceremony in the Kleines Haus of Staatsschauspiel Dresden this evening, a total of 11 Golden Horsemen and 3 special prizes were awarded. The Japanese director Tomoki Misato was delighted to receive two awards for his film MY LITTLE GOAT. 76 animated and short fiction films from 38 countries were in the running for the prizes and awards this anniversary year. The 18-member juries chose the best short films, with the winners receiving prize money worth €67,200 in total. See all winning films here.

All of the prize-winning films are being screened in three programmes in the Filmtheater Schauburg, the Programmkino Ost and the Kino in der Fabrik on Sunday, 14 April 2019. Find the complete programme here.
